Reborn at the Sacred Mountain of Lindholm and trained by fourteen Heroic Spirits, Merea inherits their powers to dispel their regrets. Snow-white hair and red eyes; combat speed described as a striking bolt of lightning. The era turns him into a Demon Lord — first named 〈Demon God〉 by Mūzeg after Lindholm, later 〈White God〉 by popular usage.

Hasim's personal maid — and his spy. Long-serving and capable, valued more than the king's prettier serving-women for being a competent person. Manages the surrounding intelligence picture, has counter-spies seeded in the castle. Familiar and playfully teasing with Hasim; calls him "Hasim-sama" but feels free to needle him.

A timid Demon Lord with no combat ability of her own, prone to stutters and broken sentences. Self-effacing to a fault — "I can't save anyone" is her self-narrative — but visibly perceptive of subtle emotional cues. Marisa designates her Second Master at the descent from Lindholm.

A clown-shape man under direct contract to the Saisalis Pope — not a Saisalis-religion believer. Androgynous beauty, *boku*-register playful, thick stage makeup, black manicure, bewitching feminine motion-charge. Bought Reve Opera for the Saisalis side. Tasked with managing the 〈Bewitch-Demon〉. Knows Shaw from prior dealings.

A Sky Dragon Heroic Spirit at Lindholm. Visits the summit when clouds drop low; brings world-news to Merea (who is otherwise cut off at the summit). Speech register: elder-fantasy-dragon, slightly archaic-formal, gender-ambiguous.

Ruler of Zuria — the third of the three young rulers of the 〈Alliance of Three Kings〉. Cold-beautied, described as the equal of moonlit lady praise; always wraps in deep blue, openly carries the thorns that come with her kind of beauty. Comfortable with confrontation. Often called "Princess" by the older generation but strongly dislikes the diminutive in person.

Leader of the rebel circle gathered around Hasim. Middle-aged with a fine, well-kept beard. Formal, witty, loyal — capable of dry humour and gentle teasing. Adept at both politics and combat. Hasim notes that Reynald's delivery sometimes lulls him into under-weighting heavy news.

The 〈Sword Emperor〉, wielding the 〈Demonic Sword Krishula〉 — a sword capable of cutting through phenomena themselves. Black-haired and composed; carries herself with quiet polish even in adverse conditions. Comically vulnerable to motion sickness. Tried various non-fighting jobs before falling into mercenary work; was hunted as a Demon Lord after Krishula was seen on the battlefield.

King of Filarfia — one of the three young kings of the 〈Alliance of Three Kings〉. Short hair, large frame, solemn weight; growl-voice when thinking. Formal and restrained, dryly witty under the surface — the straight-man to Muran's casual provocations. Filarfia is famed for its hard iron-armoured cavalry.

Third Prince of Lemuse. Bright sunlight-brown hair, aqua-blue eyes; composed, measured, sharp. Brightest of three princes but pushed aside by a father who resents intelligence. Has been quietly sheltering capable people the king dismissed and keeping the country's administration alive; plans a coup, intending to invite Demon Lords to Lemuse to defend it against Mūzeg.

The 〈Bewitch-Demon〉 — the new actress publicly named the 〈Bewitching Queen〉 at Reve Opera. Pale-blue base hair with rainbow-stone (opal) gradient; peerless visual; body-trained from dance. Hot-tempered under a demure surface. Working under contract to the Saisalis Pope under threat of the Demon-Lord-hunt.

The 〈Flame Emperor〉. Crimson-haired, flustered when caught off-guard, sharp and sardonic when she has her bearings. Wields 〈Crimson Flames of Life〉 — her family's lineage power — and can summon a flame-horse to pull wagons. Banters easily with Salman; warmer and slightly flirty with Merea.

The 〈Water King〉 — half of the twin pair with Mina. Long blue-silver hair, near-identical face to her sister, bouncy and mischievous. Conjures water at high speed. Together with Mina, can lay an ice path under Shaw's alchemised ship. Younger than Lilium; a child, not an adolescent.

Doll-faced maid in archaic-polite register, with a verbal tic about being a "capable maid." Speaks formally even when threatening. Carries the hereditary 〈Violent Period〉 of the 〈Violent Emperor〉 lineage, a berserk state requiring an external master to physically stop. Purple eyes. Designates Merea as First Master and Aiz as Second Master.

The 〈Ice King〉 — half of the twin pair with Lina. Freezes Lina's conjured water on contact. Bargains hard once she has leverage (jumped Salman's candy bribe from 10 to 20 pieces in one round). Inseparable from her sister.

King of Kushana — one of the three young kings of the 〈Alliance of Three Kings〉. Slight build, hair tied back, easy-going air. Casual, dry-witted, plays the slacker; cuts straight to the point under the surface. Commissioned the development of the 〈Magic-stone Cannon〉. Remembers his Aios classmate "Kudo" fondly and openly wishes Kudo were here to help.

A young black-scaled Land Dragon — obsidian black with a high noble sheen. Contracted 〈Fatal Draconic Disease〉 and was driven out of his pride; bought by Sherwood Firm at auction, cured by Merea with the 〈Ring Finger of the Medicine King〉 blood. Tracks Merea east by scent and refuses to leave his side. Grows rapidly; even casual paw-flicks have terrifying power.

The 〈Fist Emperor〉. Sand-coloured hair, gruff and blunt; front-line bruiser with quick tactical instincts. Has a soft spot for the twins Lina and Mina, and for Merea — whom he watches with the same shape of worry he reserves for himself. Wields 〈Magic Fists〉, body-engraved formula-weapons of his lineage.

The 〈Alchemy King〉. Runs the Sherwood Firm, a trading company with branches across the Eastern Continent. Practical to a fault, frames everything in cost/benefit terms, deadpan-snarky. The Sherwood name is an alias built up to escape his ancestral 〈Demon Lord〉 baggage. Marisa nicknames him "money-grubber."

The 〈Beast God〉 — first God-tier Demon Lord on the alliance roster. Cherry-pink hair, bronze skin, cat-like ears at the head's top, tall slim build with feminine curves. Hides ears and tail under full armour outside the castle. Aiz's nickname for her: "Shira-chan." Short-syllable, soft-paused speech. Lineage carries abnormal physical strength and heightened animal senses.

Imperial Guard for Serius Brad Mūzeg — recently promoted from Serius's exclusive personal attendant. Silk-fine blond hair; striking enough to be mistaken for a woman at first glance. Rare swordsmanship talent. Speaks in extremely formal/deferential register; calls Serius "Serius-sama." Wholly devoted to Serius.

Head of the Saisalis Religious Nation. Heavily guarded; rarely appears in public. Trying to ascend to the same status as the Saisalis god. May be a descendant of the religious nation's founder. The country pursued Shaw before he reached Lindholm.

First Prince of Mūzeg, popularly styled 〈Hero of Mūzeg〉. Grey-haired, reflective, analytical; carries a "battle-greedy smile" disciplined into stillness. Has hunted multiple Demon Lords and absorbed their formulae through self-study. Wields the 〈Demonic Spear Kurtad〉 taken from the 〈Spear Emperor〉. Calls himself a "prodigy of an age of war."

Reigning king of Lemuse, Hasim's father. Pig-bloated body in an oversized cloak whose hem is scuffed grey from being dragged on the floor. Corrupt, vain, jealous of his own son's intelligence. Doted on the first and second princes (who resemble him); shunned Hasim from boyhood. Plans to surrender Lemuse's sovereignty to Mūzeg.

The 〈Death King〉 — a Demon Lord said to have no heart in the standard place. Heart-strikes did not kill him; Mūzeg pursued the secret in his lifetime, but he evaded all pursuit and disappeared. Bequeaths Merea his heart-trait.

Serius Brad Mūzeg's personal Land Dragon. Red-scaled, unusually deep on human-language comprehension, obedient to a fault. At Serius's order will open her mouth wide enough for spell-corps men to take cover inside, or curl down to offer her own back as a circular fighting platform.

The 〈Medicine King〉 of Lindholm. Further developed the 〈Medicine Emperor〉's prototype universal-cure technique. Bequeaths Merea the 〈Ring Finger of the Medicine King〉 — broad-spectrum medicine via blood drawn from a specific finger.

The 〈Lightning God〉 of Lindholm — a foundling with no surname, 〈Barca〉 being just a title. Originator of 〈White Lightning of the Lightning God〉. World-fastest hero of his era; close-combat specialist; rival to Van Ester.

The 〈Violent God〉 — founder of the Catastrov line and Marisa's distant ancestor. Raised by surviving tenants after war wiped out his clan; alone, brought down both warring countries; never raised fists again post-revenge. Created the Spiritual Art of Violence "for the weak" — those carrying a felt sense of personal weakness retain reason at the limit-break.

The 〈Plague God〉 of Lindholm. Bequeaths Merea broad disease-resistance via 〈Antibodies of the Plague God〉. Title structurally parallel to the vacant 〈Medicine God〉 seat.

The 〈Sky King〉 of Lindholm. Originator of 〈Hammer of the Sky King〉ーa vast hammer summoned to deflect projectiles. Body-trait inheritance to Merea.

The 〈Technique God〉 of Lindholm. Red-eyed, originator of the art-family of 〈trace〉 and 〈Reverse Formula〉. Killed by poison after refusing to invade an innocent country at Mūzeg's order; climbed Lindholm with poison still in him and placed his eyes at the summit to keep them out of his betrayers' hands. No biological children; treats Merea as a son.

The 〈Flame God〉 — founder of the Kingdom of Zuria in ancient times. After Zuria stabilised, killed himself; folklore's gloss is "a flame too strong burns its own bearer." Originator of the 〈Death Flame of the Flame God〉, classified as a 〈Massacre Formula〉.

The 〈Technique God〉 Flander Crow's full canonical name — originally Mūzeg royalty, historically described as the strongest prince in Mūzeg's history. The 〈Technique God〉 title passes down the Mūzeg royal line. After defeating the great old Demon Lord of his age, chose seclusion rather than further wars; Mūzeg classified that as betrayal and erased the Mūzeg surname from him in their records.

An aged Lemusan veteran. Led the small body of retired-veteran cavalry that volunteered, on Hasim's orders for "scouting," to charge back into the Mūzeg encirclement and force a one-man corridor open for Salman to escape through. Formal-elderly speech register, plain and dignified. Addresses the post-coup Hasim as "Your Majesty."

The 〈Dragon God〉 of Lindholm — a man who pursued draconic transformation and partially succeeded. Bequeaths Merea his draconic vocal organ, giving the ability to speak Dragon Tongue.

The 〈Earth God〉 of Lindholm. Originator of 〈Divine Soil (Lyrisis)〉 — a rainbow-coloured soil said to respond to human will — and of the 〈Three Tails of the Earth God〉, obsidian-black tails Merea summons as anchors or strike-weapons.

The 〈White Emperor〉 — peerless beauty of her era. White-haired; Lemuse records her as a Hero, Mūzeg records her as a Demon Lord. Killed by betrayal in life; ascended from Lindholm immediately after Merea's birth, her regret of dying without bearing a child discharged. The "snow-white hero."

The 〈Martial God〉 of Lindholm — Merea's primary unarmed-combat trainer. Young-girl-shape in appearance, body "almost ordinary-human, even frail." Teaches the essence of the martial. Among combat-style titles, 〈Martial God〉 is historically the sought-after pinnacle. Merea won against her only once across the Lindholm period.

A Lemusan noblewoman aligned with Hasim's faction. Her observation of peddler-inventory shifts in Kushana is what surfaces the magic-stone weaponisation thread to Hasim's circle.

The 〈Life King〉 of Lindholm. Originator of the Demon-Lord-class regenerative body Merea inherits — heals wounds at an extraordinary rate and can re-grow severed limbs.

A travelling merchant in Vergilia who runs a forgery-stall on the main street. Pitched Merea a fake 〈Sword Demon〉's celebrated sword. Merea split the fake in two with a wood-stick using Shin Mu's craft; Shaw advised him to pick his marks better.

The 〈Water God〉 of Lindholm. Originator of the 〈Resplendent Sword of the Water God〉 — a long slim blue water-blade three of Merea's bodies in length, with luminous bubbles inside.

The 〈Sword Demon〉 — Lin Mu's brother. Title was Demon-class but academic argument holds it should have been 〈Sword God〉. Picked no sword in life; used everything as a sword. Pursued "the phenomenon of cutting itself." Rarely spoke except to praise his sister. Drilled Merea's swordcraft without words.

The 〈War God〉 of Lindholm — Merea's primary combat trainer and father-figure. Large/giant body; rough-masculine voice, direct and paternal. Trains by chasing students with fireballs for hours. Bequeaths Merea 〈Hardened Body of the War God〉 and asks him to carry the War God name with pride.

The 〈Wind God〉 of Lindholm. Born in the wind-dancing Western Continent, he quietly suppressed many evils in his time and was at times pierced by the venomous arrows of misunderstanding. Silver-green hair, owl's-primary-feather earring on the left ear. Originator of the 〈Six Wings of the Wind God〉.

The 〈Music King〉 of Lindholm. Bequeaths Merea vocal cords with unusual carrying-power — subtly shake the air to project a line clean.
